Founding Partner

Luis A. Alum found the firm of Alum & Ferrer, Esqs. in December of 1988. Luis graduated from Rutgers University in 1976, Magna Cum Laude, and obtained his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in 1983 and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in the same year. Luis has appeared in Superior Court countless times and has litigated and tried thousands of cases throughout his career. His overall success in winning cases for all types of clients has been one of the pillars of having a successful law firm for over 30 years in the Hudson County community.  For decades, generations of families continue to seek advice from Luis on all areas of practice, including but not limited to, Real Estate transactions, Person Injury, Bankruptcy and Workers Compensation matters.
